Colina de Brisas provides 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, large living/dining room area, a huge wrap around veranda as well as a patio and an acre of land to enjoy. Lots of space for your family or group of friends to enjoy. The house is also fully air conditioned.

The neighborhood is residential, however the house is situated on a hillside which gives you privacy without feeling secluded.

The house overlooks the Fort of Vieques (El Fortin Conde de Mirasol) and the capitol of Vieques (Isabel Segunda). The huge wrap around veranda provides sweeping, panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean from the mainland of Puerto Rico to the other small Puerto Rican island Culebra. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning as the sun rises and a cool refreshing drink later in the day and watch the beautiful sunsets. You can even watch the ferries travel back and forth from the main island to Vieques.

The Vieques fort, Conde de Mirasol, is a short 5 minute walk from the house. Here you can learn the history of Vieques and enjoy the ocean views from the fort wall. Can you locate Colina de Brisas from the fort?

There is about an acre of land with plenty of tropical fruits, trees and plants. On the eastern side (flat side) of the property you will find aloe plants, coconut, calabash (gourd), mango and grapefruit trees. On the Western side of the property you will find more mango trees plus shaded hammocks for relaxing.

The living room area has a 36" TV with a Wi-Fi enabled DVD player (no cable/satellite). There is a library of movies for you to choose from as well as books and games to enjoy when you return in the evening. A Playstation2 with games is also available.

All of the bedrooms and the living/dining room areas are air conditioned with large, "mini-split" air conditioning units, which quickly and efficiently cool the spaces. Every room in the house has a ceiling fan to take full advantage of the tropical breezes. We encourage guests to enjoy the fresh breezes - just be sure to put the door stops in place to keep the wind from slamming doors closed!

With 3 large bedrooms and 2 full baths, Colina de Brisas sleeps up to 7 adults comfortably. The master bedroom has a large en suite bathroom and king size bed. The middle bedroom has a queen size bed and shares the other full bath. The third bedroom is decorated brightly with fun art and has a full size bed and a twin platform bed. A crib (pack & play) is available as well.

The large kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and range, full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and all necessary kitchenware. Pick some fresh fruit right on the property or visit the fruit & vegetable truck 2 minutes down the road. Make yourself at home and try your hand at cooking a real Puerto Rican dinner from a local Vieques cookbook. There is also a charcoal BBQ available for grilling.

The large wrap around veranda provides awesome panoramic views of the Atlantic. Tables and chairs provide a place to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning or a cool drink in the evening to enjoy the view and the cooling trade winds. The long veranda acts as a wind tunnel and sitting on the corner can be cool at night.
